Needless to say, painting an airplane is a major decision and investment. When I determined it was time to protect and modernize my 1976 C182P, I began the process of researching companies to see just who I could entrust this to. In short order, BOSS Aircraft Refinishers rose to the top. At first their proximity to my location and their pricing brought them to the top. But, when making that kind of investment, quality of work had to be the primary factor in choosing a paint shop. The reviews on their website as well as the photos of airplanes previously painted began to cement my decision. However, it was when a friend of mine, involved with NASCAR that lives in the area, talked to those at Rowan County Airport and friends of his who had their plane painted by BOSS, that my decision was finalized.

Throughout the process from reception to delivery, Bill Lucey kept me involved in the process. Every step of the way I was receiving regular updates and pictures via email. When issues were discovered that could affect the final quality of the project, I received quotes and the decision was mine as to accept or reject those suggestions. In the end, there were no surprises; the bill was on budget and as expected. Actually there was one surprise…how GREAT the plane looked! The only thing that could match my enthusiasm was the enthusiasm of the entire team at BOSS. I honestly believe they were as excited at the final product as I was!

If you are looking for a company to give your aircraft that needed facelift, then look no further than BOSS Aircraft Refinishers. I whole heartedly recommend Bill and the entire gang at BOSS. You’ll be amazed! –Phil Poston
